Well I guess I am no longer a casting virgin. Took me months of reading, researching and gathering equipment but I took the plunge and I must say it seems to have turned out to be a success. I managed to scavenge about 90 lbs of wheel weights. About 30 lbs of it turned out to be stick on wheel weights so I decided to see if it could be used for low velocity rounds such as 45 ACP so that I could save the clip ons for higher velocity stuff. I bought the Lee 452-200-RF mold and used IMR7625 powder because it was available. 150 rounds later no leading and seems to be as accurate or more than any other of my reloads. Thanks to all the people posting here to help noobs like me get started. The target shown is 5 shots and 7 yds off of a rest.
