Here is a 202 gr. mould. I have one of these in .314 size.
NOE 312299
Throat, groove and bore sizes in the 303 rifles wanders like a drunk........... about 0.006" from what i've seen. Take a lead throat slug and see what it needs, don't guess or assume. Undersize boolits shoot rather poorly is this one.

Knowledge without understanding is a dangerous thing. For a little knowledge entices us to walk its path, a bit more provides the foundation on which we take our stand, and a sufficient amount can erect a wall of knowledge around us, trapping us in our own ignorance.
Never sleep, never die
Knowledge is easy to get, but worthless if you never use it. However the info is free, so the only person you have to blame is yourself if you chose not to use the information.
Duke:
If you find that you have + sizes in your groove and bore dimensions, I have a NOE 316299
mould I will be selling.
PM me if interested.
Jack
Littlejack,if Duke doesn't want the mold I'm interested. Pat
I have an NOE 316299 that casts about 0.3155". It fits three Lee Enfields perfectly and shoots well for me. Mine all seem to run around 0.314" groove and about 0.315" throat. I size to 0.315" which just chambers.
No, not for sale! Al has several 0.316" moulds listed though.
Also to consider for a light boolit is the NOE 0.314" x 129 gr. I bought one and lapped it a bit to give 0.316" boolits and that shoots well for a light load that is cheap on powder and lead. I believe there are a couple of other lightweights about now in the fatter diameters as well.
You should slug the throat and pick a size to suit the throat. It is easier to measure than 5 groove slugs too!
Longbow
Also, NOE is running a 218 gr mould (in .311, .314, .316") later this year for those of us who want to try and duplicate the Mk VI round. Should be fun!

You will not go past CBE .303 moulds. Jim has about 12 now.

Jeff,
What can you tell me about the boolit wts and cost from CBE? I don't have any molds
specifically bought to feed my SMLEs, and should have at least one or two.
Recommendations?
Bill
If it was easy, anybody could do it.
Pat is right. Spoke to Jim on Skype this morning and he is having 3 months off. He is feeling burnt out. Hope he keeps production going after his vacation.

Duke, I have a .316" mould if the rifle you end up with is on the large size. I can send you some samples to try when the time comes.
