The 150 grain plain base load info will get you started.
If you just want a powder puff load 8-10 grs Unique will do it.

16 grains of 2400 will get it done nicely, if you have some. It's probably just a tad higher than 1150 fps though.
That's what I use - 16gr of 2400 it works with 160gr and just as well with 205gr, kind of like magic
30calflash is onto it, I also use the same recipes in my 30 cal rifles
I use Bullseye. Suggest you try 8 gr +/-.

Thanks, but I don't have any of these powders. I just got my gas checks, I powder coated the bullets and installed the gas checks. These are some powders I would like to use up:
AL5, AL7, AL8, green dot, herco, red dot, PB, 4756, blue dot; these are all from the same era. Anyone know what these convert to or have data for them?
Also for 30/06 lead gas checked, for hunting.
8 of green dot, 4756,
7 of red dot
9 of blue dot
For 06 hunting I chronographed 14 grains of blue dot with a 190 grain boolit at 1550 fps.
I personally use 13gr of red dot in 30 cal to 8mm with awesome success, I use the lee 312-160 mold and for most every rifle I have to set the sights to 300 for shooting at 100 yards and 600 for 200. I personally think it has less kick and quieter than 16gr 2400. YMMV.

That bullet works wonderfully.
Shim the mold with Aluminum tape if you need a larger bullet. I have Lee 1,2, and 6-cavities version of that mold. I size them .314” for Mosin Nagant and .303Brit. .311” for .308, .30/06, .30/30.
I mostly use #2400.
Your Red Dot, Green Dot, Herco and Blue Dot will do well!
Your rear sight set to 400m will work fine.
Without a gas check, use 8.0gr RedDot or Green Dot...
A tuft of Dacron pillow stuffing (like a small cotton ball) over the powder will enhance accuracy.
I use it exclusively for .303, 54r, x39, and 3006. I don’t own anything in 7.7 yet. But ya they all shoot awesome with the same powder charge. I’m waiting on a 7mm mold to try that but if your gonna shoot 6.5 carcano I’d back it down to 10 and shooting bigger case 8mm like 8x56r and 8x51 lebel I had good results with 13gr as well but I use the lee .330 mold for that

I keep a bunch on hand that are already PC so I can just run it through the sizer depending on what rifle I’m loading for. After PC they’re usually .314-.315 so with my mosins I just run it through the sizer to just crimp the GC on

Too purdy to shoot!
I seat mine to put base of bullet even with bottom of case neck.
Lightly crimp with Lee FCD.
how do you get yours to be so smooth and shinny? mine have small lumps in them and are dull.
Yes, I am just learning and shake and bake is what I'm doing, is the spray a powder? and do you also spray the bottom?
