    Cool Weber Smelting Station

I garbage picked an old Weber grill and converted it to a smelting station. I reinforced the bottom with some scrap pressure treated plywood and some pressure treated decking boards. I cut the bottom of the grill to go over my smelting pot. I added a welding blanket as a heat shield and it works great. With the cover on, the neighbors have no idea what I am actually "grilling". Wouldn't be complete without the results of a bucket of ww's. (No idea why the thumbs down in my title)

Very creative . I'm a great believer in "re-lifing" old stuff, you've done well.

Hehe I finally figured out how to change the icon I had accidentally put in my title the first time. Yea, I can be a bit slow at times

Actually it did not fix the thread icon. Guess once you submit you are stuck with it - oh well.

Well that either looks great, or looks TOO good (too civilized).
    (Too professional?)
Good scavenging, and nice setup, the cover protects against TFIs
(Tinsel Fairy Incidents). And the breeze won't take the heat away.
I could see 'em selling that at the big sporting goods stores!
