    CabineTree LLC Lead Testers

Is there a better tester out there for the same or close to the same money?

I want to test ingots and bullets.

I’ll be ordering a Standard Lead Tester Monday unless you guys know of something better/easier to use tester.

    Thanks Warf

BTW I went for the dual model and find it well worth the extra if you don't already have measuring tools for concentricity etc. Its a real cheap way of getting this type of measuring tool if your buying the tester anyway.

I find its ingenious agricultural simplicty very impressive.

I bought the dual model as well and have to say what a beauty it is and very solidly made.
It took me a few attempts at getting the readings right, but after that no worries!
It is a real good unit and would not hesitate to recommend it to others
    Cheers

    Thumbs up

I have the basic model and love it.

They are hell for stout and should outlast all of us.

    You won't be sorry.

I bought the dual model from JIM at the QUIGLEY RIFLE SHOOT. One heck of a nice guy.

Primarily I use it to test concentricity on bullets and loads for my 50 SHILOH SHARPS, but being able to also use it to test lead makes it an even better bargain.

Go to his web site. He also has a locking mold handle and some other goodies that the BLACK POWDER CARTRIDGE RIFLE shooters use to get ABSOLUTE PERFECTION IN CAST BULLETS. The BPCR guys who want to win weight their bullets--and spin them--to extremely tight tolerances.

I have a Seaco and a LBT Testers Like the LBT the best simple to use and a ingot fits nicely under probe as well as cast boolits. Being my eyes are not what they us to be LBT is simple and easy to read Seems to be as accurate as Seaco tester
