Hi Kathie

Gene
Captain,
I received my lead today.
Thank you so much,
Barry
You are most welcome !!!!
I have 1000+, maybe even 1200 pounds of WW's to sort through; in addition to picking up some range lead probably within the next 2 weeks....
So when the warm weather arrives, I will be back to smelting!!!
Thanks again Barry for your business.

WW's...(pant, pant) oh, yeah!! Just let me know when, Kathie.
When you get some ready, I'll be happy to take at least 50 pounds wheel weights, and 50 pounds stick on or lead sheet.
Kathie....Would like 50# WW when next available.....Bill
Would your stick ons or lead sheet work for split shot sinkers? The split shot sinkers have to be soft lead or be pure so they can bend easily.
Hi, I am not a boolit caster, so I can't speak about this topic with any kind of "authority" [smilie=l: However, the sheet lead I have (pictured in one of the post previous to this, is easily foldable and easily cut with tin snippers. So, I can safely say that the sheet lead I have is as close as it comes to being "pure" lead.... 1 click on the dial indicator of my Cabine Tree tester (which I think is .010). Cabine Tree cross reference indicates:
Pure Lead* Dial reading: .020-.030 Hardness: SAECO 0 and Brinell 5
As for the ingots cast from stickon lead, they come in around 9 Brinell (BHN), give or take .5 to either side. But I am no expert when it comes to formulas, and what works best for what you are attempting to cast.
But the above figures are to the best of my ability as a wholesaler of lead....

Kathy, you may not be a boolit caster, but bless your heart for being such a good enabler!
Kathy,
I'll be needing about 100lbs of WW, maybe more. Pm me and let me know when you'll have it and the price.
Thanks!
Hello Kathie,....Would like 50# WW when next available.....Please PM when you'll have it and the price....Arnell
Please add me to the bottom of the list for 50# of wheel weight.
Long time lurker, but registered today as my local access to them has been removed by the law in washington state. It's been a few years since I got buckets full of em, and now they can't sell/give them to me. :(

Hi friends,
Some people were curious about the sheet lead that I obtained from the doctor's office. The lead I obtained had been on the floor. There is ooodles of lead in the walls, so I hope he decides to remodel... if so, it will be the mother lode.
I have a buyer for the 50+LBs of this lead, and I decided to take some pictures of it before I cut it up.
I reclaimed some more sheet lead from a door from this same office, but I will most likely smelt that because of the particle-board of the door having been glued to the sheet lead sandwiched in between the 2 layer of the door. Now, if only the WHOLE DOOR was constructed with NORMAL wood, it would have been clear sailing. I reclaimed about 13 pounds from the door, but had to junk it at the dump since the time and effort was not worth it. And YIKES, that door was heavy!!!
I thought I took some pictures of the cut up door that I took to the dump, but I only came up with 2 taken at night of some of the scraps. My helper cut the door in workable chunks, and off it went next day to the dump.
If I get the mother-lode, I will let everyone know!!!
Stay tuned......

Hi again,
We are limited to 10 pictures, so this is part 1 of the photo essay on the cutting of the sheet lead... mostly with the use of a paper cutter, and had to use tin snips to get started with the larger pieces.
