Any interest in a 40 cal/10mm 200gr pistol mold?

Looking for others who might want to get in on a multi cavity 40/10mm 200gr TC mold. It won't have a crimp groove since it would be intended for SV/STI shooters. Probably have a bevel base and slightly lower lube groove for loading long with the 40. Any interest? Please post if you are...

Are you a member over on the Brian Enos Forums? I just lurk there.

It would certainly be worth mentioning there.

200 grain 40/10

would you have any pictures of the design ?
I would also be interested in a 147 multi cavity mold for a 38/357/38 super in a pointed round nose or TC.
Do you know of any available ?

Thanks Glenn
ps I saw your post on the BE forum.

Is the one currently on the table. Min load length would be 1.13", slippery shape for feed challenged guns. As the drawing sits now, it should allow 1.20" in a non-throated chamber.

It is subject to modification as the group sees fit.

38 cal. round nose

Could you tell me who made the mold, and any other info about it.
Would it be possible the maker would have an extra one, or would anyone care to sell one, if they bought more than one ?
Thanks all.
Glenn
What Lyman mold # are you referring to as far as the four cavity mold ?

Glenn,

As for the 9mm mold, checkhere. MP Molds out of Europe. Really great work and we got it fast.

Richbug linked you to the Lyman I was referring to. I was going to buy that 4 cavity Lyman when I found out about the MP 6 cavity.

I might be interested in this mold. I just bought some of the Bear Creek 200 grain bullets to try. If I decide I like them I would buy 2 of these molds if the price is right.

Pigfixer, I was in on the 147 gr. 9mm group buy and bought 2 molds for myself and one for a friend. I'm not sure if he is going to take his now, so I might have one for sale. If you are interested, let me know.

Can someone change the title of this thread to reflect that it is for a 40cal/10mm? Some folks might cruise right over it assuming it was for the usual 45/44/41's.

That's not been determined yet...so far not enough interest to even get beyond the discussion level. To get a decent price we probably need 10-12 molds.

I mite be interested, would like to see pictures and would not want a HP.
If I go for it I'd want a 4 to 6 cavity mold, but need info on pricing and wait time.
I'd also be in for something a little lighter, if the final mold hasn't been decided.
Thanks

There are existing 4 and 6 cavity molds that drop bullets less than 200gr available from RCBS/Lyman/Lee right now. And probably for less $$$ too.

We're pursuing this custom mold because none of the manufacturers have a high volume (4-6 cavity), 200gr mold with this profile in their product line.
