Way to many steps and half of them are not necessary. I like your style though.![]()
I just bought a box of .429 sized lead cheap. I need to lube them. What did you use for the lube? I"m not into casting and tring something new.

I've thought of doing the same recently, mainly to prevent oxidisation of boolits in longer term storage.
I started poor and the investment in pan lube was within my ability. I used a cut off fired case as a tool to cut the lubed bullet from the pan. Control the depth of the molten lube to put the lube where you want it, wipe the base of the bullets so lube and gunpower don't mix. Can produce good shooting. Good shooting.
For my rifle boolits (especially my .225 boolits), I install the gas checks and size using a push-through, then lube-only through the lubesizer, then finish with a very light tumble-lube coat.
