    Loads for 358429 in a 38 Spl.

A friend wants some practice/plinking loads for his wife, she has a Ruger and he brought me a 358429 mold.
Looking for some light load data.

I've been loading 3.5 grains of 231 with that boolit. Gives me 805 fps from my 5 inch S&W M27.

I have loaded as light as 2.7 grains of Bullseye with the 358429 and had great accuracy at 50 and 75 feet.

All the above loads are good ones. It is hard to find a "bad" load with this boolit in 38 Special. I didn't get one of these designs until fairly recently, and regret not having done so sooner. It is a GREAT boolit.
I don't paint bullets. I like Black Rifle Coffee. Sacred cows are always fair game. California is to the United States what Syria is to Russia and North Korea is to China/South Korea/Japan--a Hermit Kingdom detached from the real world and led by delusional maniacs, an economic and social basket case sustained by "foreign" aid so as to not lose military bases.

I use 2.7 to 3.3 gr Bullseye or 4.3 to 4.5 gr unique. It is very nice to shoot and easy to cast. I load it similar to what I load 358495 WC so I don't have to change charge bar/bushing.
