    My son and I own 3 .303s and 1 Mauser 96 in 6.5X55. All 303s shoot cast very well, no 4 not quite so good, It has a 2 grouve BB.The Mauser is by far the most accurate,( cast and J Word). Components are easy to find for all of the above.Prices here in OZ are often influenced by the collectors .ie a No1 MK 3 can go between $450- $2000.If I had to choose I would go for either a Mauser 96 or the shorter 38 in 6.5 .     The Swedes are really nice. I have two. What a great caliber. Unfortunately, they are getting pretty pricey these days.
