Like the title says....its for getting the best accuracy but at or under 1K. CZ 457?

I have an older remington 541 target, it shoots better than me. Fun and with the heavy barrel it's quiet too.
CZ rifles; 452, 455, or 457
All shoot great.
I have ac Tikka T1x that I am VERY happy with. GW
My CZ 452 is my most accurate rifle by a huge margin even with bulk ammo. It's eerily good with decent target stuff.

Ruger American all the way!
Currently casting and loading: .32 Auto, .380 Auto, .38 Special, 9X19, .357 Magnum, .257 Roberts, 6.5 Creedmoor, .30 WCF, .308 WCF, .45-70.
I've got a Ruger 77/22 that shoots exceptionally well. Only thing done to it was float the barrel and changed the sear and spring. Volquartsen used to make them.
They come up occasionally on the used market. It shoots almost as well as my Kimber 82 Government and my Winchester 52D.
Think they are still under the 1k level.
I will say the CZ's for sure. 452, 453, 455, 457. Lots stock options too.
CZ's. I have a CZ 452 trainer, beautiful firearm and very accurate.
I have a Brno model 1 long rifle, parent to the CZ 452. It shoots everything very well. It has express sights rear and a hooded gold front. I'll get a 452 one of these days to go with it.

CZ,any of the rimfire rifles shoot very good are a lot of gun at their price points. $50.00 in after market parts makes them very competitive to more expensive rimfire rifles.
What does the Lithgow LA101 sell for your way? Apparently they shoot pretty straight.

I have a Savage GVXP (accutrigger, bull barrel, walnut stock) I got from Dick’s around 2007-2008 for around $325. I set the trigger to about 1#, very light. It’ll shoot American Eagle 40gr ammo through the same hole at 50 yards.

Thanks for the input guys. I appreciate it. I think ill go for the cz because i usually tend to customize my rifles over time. Cz has alot of options for that.

If you're going to scope it, pick the CZ that gives you the warmest fuzzy feeling. If you're going to run irons, the 457 Jaguar uses their already excellent sights on a 28" barrel, which puts the front one out where old guys can actually see it.

In the Land of Oz, we cast with wheel weight and 2% Tin, Man.
I have a CZ452 and Anschutz 1416 (both LH). Honestly I feel the CZ is just as good a rifle, at half the cost. I've only taken them to one competition, but I found the Anschutz would have been put in a different class just because it's an Anschutz and cost more. The Anschutz does have iron sights if that's important to you.

I got the cz457 american and got a rail for it and the timney trigger. I havent decided on a scope yet so i just put my ultra long range scope on a spuhr QD to test the rifle out. I know now why cz has a following, it's fantastic with the right ammo.
