really windy..... great day yesterday in north west Arkansas. about 65 sunny, bit windy (as usual) out of the south. wet air. rain in late afternoon and till about 10pm. last time I took old dog out we got wet. Next time at 230am, everything was bone dry. deck was dry as a bone with 20 to 30mph north wind. and cold at about freezing. never seen things dry as fast as that....
sunny with rain tomorrow thru Saturday....

Flagstaff is forecast to get between 18-24" of snow from Thanksgiving day through Friday. Today the wind is picking up and we're getting ready for the onslaught. I'm really glad we're just staying home and not traveling this year!

Our weather is as usual. Almost too dark for Chrono to work at noon.

Wet and windy but its in the mid 50's. Hope it doesn't dampen the spirits of anyone wanting to stop over at our church for a free turkey dinner this evening.

The wind is 40 mph gusts, and now switching to the west/northwest and temp dropping. We are missing all the snow( going north) so travel won't be bad tomorrow, but it sounds like Sunday could be interesting.

We have high wind warnings and the temp is 24, supposed to get up to 25 today. No snow or rain currently. It's just the wife and I this year and with one kid 60hrs drive and the other 12hrs. We are staying home this year but will have both for Christmas. Well, today I'm driving to Kalispell (65miles) to get a new rangefinder but maybe the traffic will be light. I retired in 2016 and we moved to Eureka MT. from Anchorage AK. We are thankful to be here and are enjoying the 4 seasons with the relatively short winters. May you all have a happy holiday season and be as blessed as we are.

First, a big happy Thanksgiving to all you folks in the US. Our Thanksgiving was in October and I was away in Quesnel BC at my son's house. Our Moose season almost every year opens October 10 so I am seldom home. So far we have had only one 2" snowfall (about 2 weeks ago). Temperatures hover just around freezing and it has been bright and sunny with some cloudy days. We have to go to the coast on Friday coming back Monday and the forecast is fore it to remain good weather until at least Tuesday. I hope this is true, but if the weather gets really bad we can always stay on the coast for another day or two. Being retired with no animals depending on us to get back is nice----sometimes.

T shirts today, but a North wind just came up, so it'll cool off some.

We have a couple relatives coming in, but most of the time I'll be trying to figure out how to shoot or trap
this college educated squirrel that's been chewing holes in our birdhouses.

I gave up fighting the squirrels and put up a "Squirrel Feeder" now that he has his own he doesn't bother the birds....in fact, the birds come over to the squirrel feeder and steals his sunflower seeds...
You should see him running and jumping around trying to chase the birds off....payback is heck ... That's a lot more fun to watch than the birds just eating birdseed .

I would like to see some pics of your squirrel feeder, if you get the chance.

It's been raining off and on here.
Kind of hotter than normal, for this time of year.
Not to much wind at all.
Friend is in Vegas for vacation.
Said it gets down to 30 at night.
