I cast about 40# from an 8 Cavity H & G S242 mold. I got a bit of a late start and only cast for about 2 hours.

Close to 100 round balls for the wife's 32 caliber muzzleloader (pure Lead) and a batch of 358-125 RF for the 9mm. These are 94/3/3, Lead/Antimony/Tin. Half were water quenched from the mold and half air cooled. We'll see which work better.

20 lb of 457193 and 20 lb of lee 312-155 coww. Water dropped the lee.
Cast some Lee 358-166 SWC-TL bullets to see if the mold needs work. It does!! It was the first non-round ball mold I ever used and it cast some funky boolits. I have learned a lot since then and wanted to see if the problem was me or the mold. It was actually a little of both but mostly user error. One cavity definitely needs leementing which I will do in a few days.

I cast a few 75 cal slugs like this in weights varying from 750 to about 1200 to run in a 2018 model PWD #4. Homemade 4 cavity Douglas Fir mould. Bottom pour cast from the Pro Melt.
Ok, so the PWD is a Pinewood Derby car.
The car had a female counterpart such that the weights could be swapped in and out. The various weights were cast in case their scale did not agree with ours.
Ended up with a near new lyman 311644 mold, 190gr sill. Neat looking boolit with lube grooves on the body of the nose. With WW they dropped .309, jeez....... anyhow wasn't the first time for Lyman mould so I PCed a few and shot a few just to see. Not bad results for slapped together rounds out of a frankin rifle I cobbled together. Gonna lap it out to get it to drop at least a .311 boolit.
Be well

I can't get the pics to load, but cast about 400 Lee 358-158RF, about 300 Lee 309-113RF and about 300 RCBS 32-98s
I finally got around to loading the pictures from last weekend. This was from a new to me H&G 4 cavity #68 mold.
