I did - a Marlin 1895CB, no problems or issues the gun is as good as it get's. I think Marlin has resolved most issue's no complaints from me. Just installed a Skinner Express brass site - beautiful.
Zeroing in on a 1950's Marlin in 35 rem. Shooting cast boolits at pistol velocities is a real hoot and of course one can always load up from there. Very versatile instruments these lever actions, and historic as well.
Last 2 that I bought were a Rossi 44-40 and a golden boy in 45-70

2016 I bought a Henry H010 45-70. Absolutely love the rife...enough so, that this year I went to the other extreme. I bought a new Henry H001 22LR just 3 weeks ago....again....a fantastic firearm. I can't say enough about how well they are built and shoot. The only issue I had was with the stock on my 45-70 when I picked it up. It was cracked. I sent an email through the "Contact Us" page on their website and Mr. Imperato contacted me directly....3 days later they had a brand new buttstock to me. I'm a Henry fan for life now. I have owned Savage 99's, Savage 1899 (still have it...in 303Sav)...and Winchester 94. As with all my open sight rifles, I change out the factory sights for fiber optic open sights. Its just easier with these tired old eyes.

My last lever gun purchase was a Winchester 1895 Saddle Ring Carbine in .30 US (.30-40 Krag). It's in fairly good condition for a 103 year old rifle with a very good bore. Another one of my "new to me" lever actions that I bought is a Winchester 1886 round barrel rifle in .45-70 mfg in 1889. Unfortunately this one was "rode hard and put away wet" and is a little bit on the rough side overall. I think that the bore is still good enough to be a shooter, but it might need a little bit of fire-lapping to clean up some light rust pitting first. The original stocks are also rough, but I think they are saveable. Too many projects and not enough time to get to them all!
I may have passed my "Best Before" date, but I haven't reached my "Expiry" date!
I was fortunate enough to add 2 more so far in 2018!! Makes an even 7 1895's in 35 WCF. I also picked up an 1895 carbine in 303 and a 1901 vintage 94 rechambered to 35-30. Can't wait to shoot it!!!

Miroku/Winchester 1873 357/38 Special Deluxe Short Rifle & Marlin 336W so far this year. I'd like to pick up at least 1 more this year, maybe something in 44Mag or 45LC.
I have a Miroku/Winchester 1873 Case Hardened Short Rifle in .357 and it's fantastic. Probably my favourite rifle right now. I replaced the rear buckhorn sight with a Skinner barrel mounted peep and it works a treat.
I also had a notion for a .44Mag or .45LC but i might have accidently on purpose bought a Win92 in .44-40 that the local shop had on the racks.
Still biding my time, looking for a well used inexpensive Win 94 or a Mar 336 to send to JES. It'll happen someday.....

I ran across a 1894 Winchester 30-30 saddle ring carbine in original shape with the ladder site and a great bore. At one time, a long time ago, it looks like someone wiped the barrel with some cold blue. Made in 1918.
The next one I picked up was another nice old Winchester 1894 rifle, all orginal shape in 32 WCF. It's all a nice patina with good wood, half round, half octagon barrel with a great mirror bright bore, and a button magazine. This Winchester was made in 1901. Two very nice original Winchester shooters in great shape. These two will be my prefered cast boolit shooters.
I have a 150, 165, 170, 175, 185, and 195 grain molds ready for the 30-30, but I have yet to slug the bores of eather rifle, lots options on the 30-30, but I don't have a mold for the 32WCF yet. The 32WCF really trips my trigger, always liked the 1/2 R 1/2 Oct barrel with a button mag, combine that with the 32WCF cartridge and I'm a happy camper.

Last two levers I have acquired have both been Japanese. A Browning 1886 22" SRC in 45-70 that I brought home today and a new Winchester 1873 in 44-40 24". Both fine additions.

I have a question about a new lever action - has anyone ever rechambered one of the 86 reproductions to other original chamberings? I was thinking of 50-110 in particular, but I would like to hear if anyone that has done it at all!
