I regret going through this many before noticing too much crimp on my boolits. They did shoot fine but I won't use these cases again.

Why not use the cases again? Revolved ammo sometimes gets heavy roll crimps, and can still be reloaded multiple times. If/when they split at the case mouth, then I'd toss them.
Agreed, I would continue using that brass without a second thought. The crimp will be removed upon firing and the cases will still be usable. Again watch for split case mouths.
What caliber are they. Looks like .45 ACP which shouldn't be crimped anyway.
The only amendment the Democrats support is the 5th.
I agree with bk & shooter. If you fired them then they have been fire formed which removed the crimp. Just adjust your crimp die and keep using them till they split or you loose them in the grass.
They look like 45 auto with a roll crimp? I'd fire them and use a taper crimp die next loading.

Yes they are .45 ACP. I have a Dillon RL550B. I guess position 4 is not really to crimp but to flatten the funnel from position 2. It’s not the same as a roll crimp. Just a snugger
Yeah that was sitting there for a while. Wasn’t sure anyone would notice. By the way they are 230 gn Black boolits
They are taper crimped... just too much. Tho backed of the taper crimp just a little and it started spitting out quality boolits
some of the old timers here have reloaded 45 brass so many times you can no longer read the head stamps. As long as they don't split reload them until they do.
That's not too terrible...once gave about a dozen .38spcl a shoulder not paying attention.
They'll be fine, I loaded the .38s at least 4 or 5 more times.
I will fear no evil, for thou art with me.

How did they chamber, pass the plunk test? Too deep?
My Anchor is holding fast!
No crimp??
Hell, we get .463 taper for an efficient burn with most powders....
