Great news. God bless you, brother.

Outstanding!

Atta boy!
The solid soft lead bullet is undoubtably the best and most satisfactory expanding bullet that has ever been designed. It invariably mushrooms perfectly, and never breaks up. With the metal base that is essential for velocities of 2000 f.s. and upwards to protect the naked base, these metal-based soft lead bullets are splendid.

Forget everything you know about loading jacketed bullets. This is a whole new ball game!
Hope you're faster now than ever ! Great attitude.
When I was 6 the front porch swing came loose from the ceiling with my Great Aunt Nell in it. It hit the porch and her leg went flying - I did not know she had a wooden(mostly) leg before that day and I was freaked out ! Fortunately she was OK, the leg was damaged but she had a spare in her luggage !
Great news! Now don't over do right away!
don't know what happened , but seems like the first few steps with the new leg brings a lot of hope.
my good buddy ( we both compete in long range matches) got to walk through the whole process after a wound that have been wrongly treated by the doctor and lead to an amputated leg just under the knee. he got a custom composite leg especially made so he can now walk, run, and do nearly any sport he wants to ....i've seen him suffering the first few months because what is left of its leg had to adjust to the prothese shape, and it may takes months ,each specific case being different.
i don't know you, but i wish you the best recovery possible. take your time, don't overload yourself trying to perform the things you were acustomed to at the same speed rate. getting back in total shape is absolutely possible, but you need time, don't rush in an attempt at meeting your expectations of a fast recovery.
Let me 'amen' - I agree - with the above statement by Glockfan. Your attitude is wonderful and this will carry you far, just don't let it carry you beyond your current abilities. To do so is to hurt yourself and it will set you back as you wait (again) to heal. Listen to your MD's and physical therapists and listen to your body.

There is no 'right' that requires me to work for you or you to work for me!
I have a family member who was in a power pole accident that crippled one leg, it wouldn't bend at the knee. That leg gave him problems for around fifty years and he had it removed above the knee and and an aftermarket model fitted, as you said "no pain".
He said he wishes he would've done it many years ago. Good luck and be careful until you get used to it.
Thanks!! I love the stories!! My feet have been messed up for a long time so moving to a prosthetic is not a huge jump for me. Still I do take all of the cautions to heart!!

One of the most endearing sights in the world is the vision of a naked good-looking woman leaving the bedroom to make breakfast. Bolivar Shagnasty (I believe that Lazarus Long also said it, but I can't find any record of it.)
I know it was hard but you have made amazing progress brother . I'm really happy you will be walking again . Thank you for that picture !!
No turning back , No turning back !
Way to go, it's all uphill from here.
