Is there such a thing as a progressive turret press made by Forster? I found a guy that says there is and he has one. I wasn't sure so I searched here and with Google and nada... I'm waiting on pics.

I have never heard of it...but that is not definitive proof. LOL
If there is one, I would like a link or photo.

I call shenanigans on anyone owning a Forster turret. However, Forster purchased Bonanza way back when, and I am not certain Bonanza didn't have a turret press, although I don't believe they did.

Put me down as a doubter too. I bet he has a Lee turret press.
Take care

In my eye a progressive press is one that will preform several functions at once so with each pull of the handle one could get a completed round. A turret press is one where a person could have all of the dies preset but one function occurs with each stroke of the handle. So one press could get you a round with each pull (once full) and the other takes several strokes per round.
The only Forster presses I have seen are the few versions of the Co-ax they have made and they are neither a turret or progressive.
Yeah, he is saying for sure that it is a prototype turret. I am going to see it along with his other presses this week. Will be a major score if even half of what he says he has, he has. If I get any pics I will post immediately.

Wasn't there a multi-stage Forrester? Like the coax with 3 linear stations, you moved the shell from station to station like a Lee load-all
"In God we trust, in all others, check the manual!"
He described it as a turret press that was advanced (the turret) with each pull of the handle by some manual linkage attached to the back of the ram and he lost me there lol... he also has some A4's, A2's, and 5 Stars and "buckets" of Star parts. We will see.

The shooting sports are riddled with more BS slingers than even the fishing sports. I say he's full of bovine exhaust.

Pressman do you have any insight here? I highly respect and value your knowledge and opinion.

For all you doubting Thomasas there really is a Forster automatic turret press. It is a big, heavy beast that cost as much to ship as it was worth. Maybe 100 made. Folks at Forster don't want to talk about it, they will barely acknowledge that sold it.
I have heard, but not confirmed, that it was designed by someone who then went to Dillon and got that line going.
The yellow one in the brochure is the only one painted that color, no one knows what happened to it. All the others are black.

OK, I retract my statement and will eat my crow in silence.

I haven't seen that one but I would no sooner call it a "progressive" press than I would call the Lee Classic auto index turret press a progressive.
Then again there are folks that don't feel the 550 is a "true" progressive, even though it produces a loaded round with each pull of the handle, because it doesn't automatically index.
Was a long sleepless night after reading pressman's post! But I cancelled plans today and sealed the deal!
