Mine shoots a nickel plated 2" S&W Model 10-7 38 Special. She loves it, and shoots it well.

I wish I could get her interested in silhouette, but golf is her passion.

Her EDC is a Gen 3 Glock 26, her prior Duty gun is a 2nd Gen Glock 19, her pocket companion when she lets the dawg out at night is MY 9mm LCR. She generally only shoots to re-qual every year ......

My wife has a Nerf gun to scare squirrels away from the bird feeders.
She won't touch a firearm and if you knew her you'd agree that that's a good thing.

Mine does not hunt anymore. When she did it was a Dan Wesson 357 with a Burris scope and an 870 slug gun. Now she keeps the 870 loaded with 00 buck handy, a Ruger 380 with Corbons underneath her towels in the bathroom, a S&W 36 flat latch in her purse loaded with Hydrashocks, and she shoots all of them very well. We have a range in the back yard and the ammo in them gets freshened up regularly

Nice laminate on that Axis. My wife for the most part shoots what I do as I get her one for every one I shoot. Axis 243, Taurus Judge, Kahr CW45, Kahr MK9, Sig 938, Ruger 10/22, Ruger Single Six etc...... I just made the mistake of letting her try out both my Target Masterpiece and my Combat Magnum. She had that grin that let me know more money is coming out of my pocket

Mine carries a ladysmith 642 with a lazer sight. She shot my lcp once, and it really got her arthritis in an uproar and crippled her up for a day or so. But that aside she will shoot anything else I own. Being petite she has a hard time with the M1 unless we can get a bench to shoot off of.

Mine doesn't shoot as much as she did when we had our old (1890s) farmhouse but hasn't given up any of her guns, either: a Win 9422, a Rem 870 Skeet Special, and a 4" Colt Diamondback. I've offered a dozen times to trade a slicked-up SP101 for that DB but she just reminds me that I gave it to her for a birthday present 40-some years ago and says she's kinda sentimental about it.

Smith & Wesson Model 67 and a Chief Special. She now has an interest in a Glock 19.

My wife will shoot a rifle rarely but prefers a handgun under 40 cal. She rarely shoots over 25 yards and gets mad when I try to correct her terrible form. Her feet move more than on a dance floor but she is happy with that.

Mine carries a G42 in her purse and shoots a G19 in GSSF. She shoots a pink camo M&P 15-22 in steel challenge. Also has a Ruger SR-22 she likes. I trust her capabilities as my backup.
