    Your favorite PC color.

What are your favorite "go to" PC color?

Mine is Smokes' yellow/green. These are Accurate Mold 38/55 boolits.

I've thought bout the zombie green bullets but then I kinda want to try a grey powder coat for a more natural look.

I prefer a brightly colored coating so that it contrasts with the lead underneath so that it will be clearly evident how well the coating has covered the bullet. With Grey, I suspect coverage may not be so apparent.

I was flipping through photobucket and I can't pick one. Maybe a top 7 list, but not just one.

So far I've tried HF Red, HF Black, PBTP Teflon and Super Durable wet black, Smokes Red, Clear, Silver, Green, Pink.

PBTP Super Durable Wet Black is still my go to. To me, it seems to go on thicker which instills more confidence. After shooting thousands of PC boolits, I'm still unsure just how thick the coating really needs to be. From testing and boolit recovery, I've noticed some of the other colors strip a little in the higher pressure handgun loads (9mm, 357 magnum). Recovered SDWB boolits remain fully coated. Because of that, it's my go to. I still coat in the other colors but not in large quantities.

I've noticed no issues with any of the colors in low pressure loads. 45 and 38 spl in any color/powder did fine for me. Also, I only do plain base boolits. No GC. So take all of this with a grain of salt. Different pressures, different boolits, different coating processes....too many variables to really count. Just stating my experience and why PBTP SDWB remains my go to.

The middle boolit below is smokes traffic purple. It coats well but is not as deep of a purple as I was hoping for.

The Carolina Blue is probably my favorite, but the John Deere green is awfully nice as well.

My personal favorite is the bonded black chrome. I also like the china mint green and the black and white vein, but I have over 30 colors to play with so it is hard to pick just one.

I know this old boy, that has to stock all colors, because his wife will only shoot the color that matches her shoes on that day.

Perusing fleabay and saw some glow in the dark powder for fishing jigs.
Wonder if they would work on boolits.

just got my purple in today and may try a bit of black in with mine. Will run a test with the powder as it comes out of the baggie first to be sure.
agree it could be a bit darker for visual impact
