Show us some photos of your PC'd boolits. You seem to be the "go to guy" on the subject. Let's see if we are on the same page.

When I get back to my office computer this week I will dig up some pix I have on there. I normally do all this from my iPad down in the family room so posting pix is really not a thing I can do.

I take very few pix of boolits. I prefer casting, loading and shooting.

No doubt. Jim did jump on the band wagon fairly early.

Beagle "Ansel Adams" 333 does take some really nice close-ups! I have not had my digital SLR out in years. iPhone6 for all my pix/movies/etc now.

Thanks for the compliments. I use an old old Sony Cybershot 7.2mp instant thingy with the slide-front for all of my pics. I do have an iphone 6S, but I just got it Thursday and don't really know how to use it yet. I moved up from my trusty flip phone which sadly died last week after 8± faithful years.

I'm neither BangerJim or Beagle333, but if you have a newer phone you can take pretty decent pics. I'm no photographer but the phone sure makes up for my lack of ability.

If you have bluetooth capability you can transfer from the phone to the computer, clean it up in PAINT, and save a smaller size; then all you need do is click the "Go Advanced" in a post you're writing, and click the little paper-clip/dropdownmenu thingy on the right side of the top icon bar just below the "Title" box. Click that then you get a new window; click the "add files" button, upload the photo, then place it "in line." Sounds harder than it is.

I think this is a feature that only works for contributing members, but it keeps the attachments for use in future posts. I have about, oh, 50 or so such pics.

Last night I took this with my phone:

It's my newest attempt at a PC "booth." Below are some other pics; remember, I'm not a professional photographer so it's all the phone, not me. And I don't have the skill for "staging" the photo like Beagle.

The iPhone 6 has excellent resolution for a "pin hole" camera....teeny lens.

I clean up/resize/crop all my pix for the net in Photoshop. They are entirely too big in the size indigenous to the 6 "camera".

I have a ton of pix stored on this site. I believe anyone can do it, not just the privileged few.

The key to good pictures (with any phone or REAL cameras) is lighting! NO flash. Backfill and ambient lights are important. Back in my "wet" days and my real darkroom in the basement, I had all that lighting stuff, even a ring flash for my SLR's. I have not idea where any of that stuff is today!

I will scrape up some pix and post them to the "PC Pictures" thread on here.
