    .312 diameter lead wire

    Does this diameter have any use for swageing bullets? I got 38# of it that I would rather sell to someone who could use it insted of melting it down. JerryW

    Sure, for pistol calibers like 9mm (might be a shoe-horn job), definitely for: 40cal, 44cal, 45cal

    Might not be much use to a rifle bullet swager.

    I have used it in the past for .44 caliber bullets. I would use it more often if it weren't prohibitively expensive from most suppliers.

    Dang - I could just cut that to length and load it in 7.62x39 or .303 Brit!

    Could run it through my luber/sizer - but just imagine being able to try every conceivable bullet weight - say 50 grains up to 300 grains - with any number of powder loads - just for fun! It would work for Mosins and 7.7 Arisakas too!
