    Border security at it's finest

Was talking to out local police chief last night. He was explaining how ham stringed our border security is.
We are near the Canadian Border and on a primary interstate highway used for drug trafficing and illegal immigration. Our state police were lately told that they are no longer allowed to patrol an area which they previously had made 90% of their border related arrest. He also told us that the border patrol is supposed to restrict their patrols to within 30 miles of the border and anything outside that was ICE's territory and ICE is not allowed to operate within 30 miles of the border. Basically what has happened is to limit patrol and enforcement within 30 miles of the border (closer to 50 with the State trooper restrictions), the area where it would be the easiest to cut off access to this country. He also said that many muslems are flying into Mexico, learning Spanish and passing themself's off as Mexicans to get across the US border (legally or illegally). Thanks Obama............

Our officers recently picked up and illegal. They called the Border Patrol who said they could not come and get that person and that ICE should be called. When ICE was called they said it was the Border patrols Jurisdiction, in contrast to what I posted earlier. Fortunately the chief got one of the BP guys to sign off on the paperwork and they were able transport him to the border patrol for deportation. It's really just a cluster f88k to avoid deportation of illegals. The chief said most of the legal locals will roll on the illegals in a heartbeat.

Mooslimes and every other nationality has been coming across the mexican border for years, but like everything, I suspect the numbers have picked up a bit.

I29 they run drugs down into SW MN and Sioux Falls etc on it. We need a $50 bounty for every illegal turned over to the cops for immediate deportation without a hearing. I see a tide coming of backlash against the illegals and the rioters who are being egged on by Obama.

Oh and this is headed to the pit I bet!

Has to be I 29, I would think. Portal ND is one of my favorite places to cross, I doubt there is a lot of illegal crossing activity around there though.

After driving up and down I 35 and I 29 many many times I would take 281 north less cops and more farms better to fit in and be a smuggler then to stand out and get caught.

I may be way off base, but I would think there would be more drug smuggling and even illegal aliens trying to get into Canada than out.

Took 281 north part one way year on the way to see a friend in Rolla. Early 80's I think. Sign said road work, pavement ends... yeah it ended with a 6 inch drop off onto dirt! We left a track of the oil pan skid plate and got lucky nothing tore off or broke. Friends ex plymouth police cruiser that had skid plates, super heavy duty suspension etc. We piled 7 people in it and 12 cases of the local beer in the trunk.
