    need help getting scope caps

Guys need help ordering correct butler creek caps for two scopes that I have. One is vortex viper pst 4-16 and the other is vortex viper pst 1-4 power. If some one can help me get the part number or the size, that would be great. I can't figure out if I need to get them right on the spot as far as size of the scope or size smaller so they fit nice and snug. So if some one has those optics please be a friend and help me out. I would really appriciate that.

You really need to try them on the scope. The numbers sometimes lie

I bought 2 sets of these.
I really don`t care for them.
    They don`t stay closed.
They keep popping open at the most inopportune times.
Yes I did buy the proper size....dale

The one I have on my scope (eye end) is a little large but stays on. I bought a set for my grandson's scope and had a brain storm, I used my Harbor Freight calipers and switched them to the metric reading and came out perfect. YMMV
