Headlights on my Deuce are '34 repops w/turn signals built in. Body is steel. Engine is a 348. Car has been on the road since 2006. First shakedown trip was 2500 miles to the LA Roadster show. It is a fun ride!
very nice rod
Wish list. Things my daughter and I are looking for.
Ideal and Lyman HP pins
Kimber micro 9 mags
Star die removal tool, 430 die & TP.
Cocking stud and ejector Stevens 15a
11,000 miles -- sweet.
I had a 62 Galaxy with a 390. I got along pretty good for a big heavy car. It was a comfortable ride.

65 has a 390 also. Fully loaded car. The 64 has 352 with a vintage 60's aftermarket air.
I just went through all ya motors page by page, sure is some nice units! Kind of dominated by yank tanks though
Time to add an Aussie classic for you all, my pride for a good ten years till unfortunately the time came she had to go
1972 HQ Holden Kingswood wagon. Classic package 202 (6 banger) three on the tree limited slip bango diff.
Traveled all over Australia in her (and lived in her for a while). Comfort plus! A 12 hour drive in one day.....not a problem.
May not suit most taste but I have done all the work myself on all of them.
Latest project. Sat in my garage for 25 years before decided to tackle it.
1971 Kawasaki H1 500 3 cylinder 2 stroke.
1985 Kawasaki ZL900 Eliminator. Owned since 1990
My current VW's
1968 bus bought in 2000. I am located in PA bus was in Albuquerque NM. Blown engine, bad brakes etc... Shipped out 7 boxes or parts & tools, one-way plane ticket, built engine on site & did all the necessary mechanicals, Drove it 2000 miles home. Entire trip was done in 9 days.
1983 Jetta 2 door Wolfsburg Edition. Rare car in 2dr & the interior. Has '91 2.0L 16V DOHC, Bunch of performance head work I did myself, brakes from a VW that weighs 1000lbs more, 4 wheel disk. Suspension upgrades & limited slip diff. Car is Faster than it should be. Had it Autocross once. Many rare European parts. This car was finished & on the road in 2 months, One month on the engine & 1 on the car. Drove it from PA to CT the weekend after it was on the road.
& the winter beater
1983 Jetta Turbo Diesel. Put this car together about 10 years ago. Bought the rolling chassis in upstate NY for $300. Found an engine with 40K mi in RI a month later. One month after getting the engine it was on the road. This is an original Turbo Diesel car & pretty rare for the first generation Jetta. Has a spare set of wheels with 4 Blizzak tires & some diff work. Set of Z-chains in the trunk. It's a snowmobile.
Oh yeah, working AC.
Wish I still had this one, first car. Rebuilt motor & sold to shop manager at Hunter's Point yard in 65. Ran out of money (for tires & batteries) to get it back to midwest where I had planned to drop a 283 in it. Total weight would go down ~400#. Looks just like I left it but without the extra fog lamps. I paid $600,plus $1200/yr for insurance (single, under 25, sports car in Ca.), sold for $900. Aluminum doors & trunk, 2500 cc 4 banger A-H 100 BN1. Haven't been able to track back ownership on this one but it is northern Ca.

Whatever!
Pretty cool vanagon.
Helped with headliner install in this 70 bus.
Vwpeices - is that the same motor as in the earlier 'mean green machine'? Frame is different and looks like the head fins are also. I thought they made a 750 version but was told it wasn't factory.
Whatever!
I think you are questioning my blue Kawi?
Not Shure what the "mean green machine" is. The 71 H1 500 is pretty much stock except for the pipes. In 72 they started offering the H2 in 750 & became known as the "widow maker". 500 is enough for me. Frame is inadequate, drum brakes & fast. I usually say to people... have you ridden a 125 dirt bike? this is like 3 of them... but it's not really. Bought the H1 in 1990 for $125. This one is by no means perfect but I have seen really nice ones sell @ 10K+. All the work was done myself except shooting some paint. I rebuilt the engine & transmission... I also laced & trued the wheels.
