    lyman 4500

Just picked up a 4500 tried following directions but I had the lube in before I put that white plastic sleeve in and thought ph what could it hurt so screwed the cylinder with the 2 o rings in and in and in finally started to get lube to come out I dont know if I didnt have boolit in the right place or what but now it lubes a little bit of the groove and some in front and then when I tighten the lube chamber more it pretty much fills the groove up and the front of the boolit how will I load these like this

Adjust it so that it doesn't push the boolit as deep into the die. It is going down past the top holes in the die. It should only go down until you start to get lube in the grooves and maybe just a hair further so it'll line up good. If you're lubing the crimp groove and the nose, it's definitely going too deep. There is a threaded sleeve and locknut you can adjust to limit how deep it will go into the die.
See figure 24 in the manual below.

I'm not sure about cleaning it off but I would refill with Tac1 from RandyRat or BAC from Lars45 if I were you

I use a heat gun to clean mine. If you don't have one of them just sneak out your wife's hair dry. But a heat gun does wonders. The Lyman is a little touchy. Good luck
