    Talking range report on 35x444

took the 35x444 out awhile this am. tried some new loads and darn thing was pleasure to shoot.
used 40 grains of h-4895, recoil was mild, report was loud as heck, pressure was medium. accuracy wasn't bad 1" group with 180 gas checked cast bullets at 75 yrds.
going to increase to 41 grains and see what they do

    OF,

    Make em sing.

How bout a picture of a loaded round?
Reading can provide limited education because only shooting provides YOUR answers as you tie everything together for THAT gun. The better the gun, the less you have to know / do & the more flexibility you have to achieve success.

got this puppy singing music to my ears
shooting 209 grain cast pushed with 42 grains of h-322
getting sub 1" groups at 100yrds, 1" 4 shot group at 200 yrds
muzzle blast is big, nasty and load

loaded 5 with h-4895 and got close to same result with more blast

2450-2575 fps depending on which powder I use and the barrel is 16.9 inches counting muzzle brake

Less powder, longer neck? Are there standardized spec's for the 35x444?
