    Happy Veterans day

    To all of the countless veterans that serve now, and have served in the past, bless you. I would not be here if a few of you did not help me through some ruff spots. Our country would not be the land of the free without you, and those that gave everything.

    I salute you my brothers... Semper Fi, Oooooo Raaaaa, and may the lord bless you in Jesus Name... Amen

    I too, send my wishes, prayers for peace, and a safe return home to all veteran's and those currently serving. Without your dedication to duty, honor and service, today's world would far worse than it is now. I just wish, that you could really have a day to stand down, unwind and just smell the coffee. Be safe out there.

    +1 to Scarry's comments. Lots of lip service to God & Country, Vets, not much action unfortunately. Prayers for all.

    From this day to the ending of the world,
    But we in it shall be remembered-
    We few, we happy few, we band of brothers;
    For he to-day that sheds his blood with me
    Shall be my brother; be he ne'er so vile,

    You know I have been hanging around here for awhile now and the tribute to our veterans has never been more meaningful then now.
    Why you might ask, well lets start with America isn't the America I grew up in, served for or lived in. She has changed in so many ways and most are not for the better. I remember service personnel standing and being spit on, called baby killers and worse. The Media has changed America and not for the better. We have elected a draft dodger as a President and later learned his zipper had issues, We have a Secretary of Defense who really has no clue what his job is, we have a President that is more Socialist then capitalist, We have Congressional individuals that use the job to increase their personal wealth at the expense of the Nation and the People they are to be serving.

    To All our military personnel past, present and future," May the flag you serve always represent Freedom and a Free Nation under God"

    Today for me is bitter sweet as I remember so many I help carry the last journey in this life, some I even talked to and helped to move on, no these didn't die they actually were able as I refer to it," finally come home".

    War is something we all know is there and should be the last resort to any dispute, but if it needs be let America be the Nation that stands for freedom, honor and respect of the individual.
    Beware of a government that fears its citizens having the means to protect themselves.

    You're welcome. I'm a happy veteran. I got up this morning, drove my company car a hundred and seventy miles and arrived at a station northwest of Houston to kick off a project. I just finished a nice lunch at a Thai restaurant, and life is good.

    But I take this time to remember those who went before me and after me and with me: Some of them back here, living their lives like I do, some who remain forever young, fallen in the service of this country.

    Thank you, brothers!
