    Joined the NOE club yesterday

Finally got around to ordering me a four cavity NOE .225-FN .55 grain (RCBS copy). Can't wait to get this baby in and working. From what I'm gathering keeping the mold hot is the key to casting these little boolits? I've been reading through the archives extensively to glean some wisdom from others. All my molds to date have been RCBS, Lyman, and Lee. Really excited to get my hands on this work of art. Next I'm gonna have to buy something from Tom at Accurate, just to be fair of course.

My mold for that boolit likes to work best on the hot side. Keep a good rhythm and you can make a lot of them pretty fast.

I preheat em on a hotplate. I cast fairly fast and within 5-6 castings they come out great.

Noe moulds are excellent, they do like to be run hot.
They try telling me that I'm crazy but we know better.

No exp. with the 22 molds but the 358 revolver molds like it hot .

I know my 360-180 GR2 likes it at `round 810f when runnin the HP pins.

My regular alloy is isotope with a touch of tin.

I must say this NOE mold is a work of art. After finding the right temperature for it and the pace it liked, I couldn't throw a bad one. It is sweet and dead on .225. Al you are a pro. This won't be my last NOE, no it won't.
