    Powder Availability

Have any of the major players like AA, Alliant,Hodsgdon etc. given any dates they expect to be shipping various powders?? From what I can see some is trickling out VERY slowly but I have not seen any major shipments and gotten no product available notices from many places I have left requests.

Was at Cabela in PA last Tuesday, they had 40-80 (I did not count them) 1 lb bottles of 8208 XBR, but I could only buy two.

Shelves are empty of ALL powders here. They're getting in some primers and loaded ammo but no powder. Glad I stocked up before the panic.

They are making it round the clock, as fast as they can. Shipping it while it's still warm. The problem isn't making it or shipping it. The problem is that greedy knothead ahead of you who says "I found some powder today and bought all they had!" Because there is NEVER a shortage of greedy knotheads.

Rocky I could not have said it better myself! cudos to the retailers who limit how many you can buy at one time.

Bought an 8 lb of 20/28 last week and a 4 lb of Bullseye a couple weeks before that at normal pre panic prices.

Yes, i don't understand primers either. I have used the Russian Wolf primers with great success and continue to do so with the ones i bought before the great shortage. They should be readily available from the Russians but i do not see them on the shelves either. Why are they not available?

Some Wolf Ammo and primers are getting thru but the majority of Russian primers and ammo are Tula. I just got 3K Tula .223 small rifle primers and they do go bang but are a little more difficult to seat than CCI. Winchester primers become available at times but small pistol and small rifle primers will sell out generally within 10min to an hour of being released even with purchase limits. The problem is people receive email alerts on their smart phones and instantly place orders so stuff goes FAST!!
