    Need a 45 Colt reamer

    Good morning
I will be turning a 44 Mag DW into a 45 Colt ( a real one is very costly) soon.
If you have a 45 Colt reamer in good condition and would like to sell it let me know. I will be buying one soon as I will be chambering as soon as I have the gun in hand which is already bought.

Are you rebarreling? Didn't know if the rifling was deep enough to simply ream out the bored.

    Any change in shroud necessary?

Watch the diameter of the reamer. Most SAAMI spec 45 Colt reamers are quite a bit too big to be optimal. If I were doing this I would spec out a custom reamer that fits the brass properly.

    +10000000000!

A reamer that left about a .478" x.476" tapered hole for the case would be plenty for a .451" groove, .452" boolits, and .4525" cylinder throats and typical brass.
