Score! Two pounds Accurate No. 7 $18.

My range had our annual picnic and swap meet today. Someone was selling two unopened cans of No. 7 for $9 each.

I have a .44 mag load for it that shows potential. I need to do more testing though.

my favorite powder for 32 H&R mag in jacketed, full-power loads.
Is your 44 mag load for #7 a mid-range load?

I've only tried it once using the start charge Accurate recommends for a 220gr lead (or as close as my Lee Auto Disk would get).

I was impressed with the velocity but need to test them some more for accuracy and leading

I might try it as an alternative to Unique with the tumble lube 240s too.

Stopped in at the gun shop yesterday to get some Clays powder for my 45 lc.
Darn, none on the powder shelf.
Asked owner if he by chance had any in stock in the back room.
Why yes he responded, he had a 1 lb can that had been opened by mistake in the back.
$10 out the door, of course I took it.
And yes he is a trusted dealer, otherwise I would have been suspicious.
