    Casting Bench

I built this today. All the wood was recycled from scrap and the nails came from the trash. Completely free.

He already had a 12 bore muzzleloading shotgun, so his arsenal was complete, and along with an ax and a few other necessities, he had the basic tools of a frontiersman.~Trails of a Wilderness Wanderer~Andy Russell~

Looks good. Hopefully, it's attached to the wall. Wouldn't want that to tip over on you. Could be very bad.

    It's anchored to a stud.

Awesome. Change out that turbo tumbler for a hotplate and mould oven, pop out a folding table for air cooling or a quench bucket and you're good to go! I love free stuff.

I like it...compact, doesn't take up much room and you have all you need..and it was FREE...I used to have a pot like that...

I couldn't operate with so little room to spread out. I made a cover for my table saw and cast on it.

I made mine out of a quarter-sheet of 3/4" plywood, good on one side and framed it in 2x4's.
It's on 2" wheels, and the height was set to fit me in a metal folding chair.

That's what she said! .................................but really, the bench looks good. I like it.

That look on your face, when you shift into 6th gear, but it's not there.
