    First Perfect Pair!

Got a new mould today, and I'm happier than a puppy with two... well, I'm pretty danged happy! The 429421 is not exactly a new mould for me -- I had a single cavity back a quarter century ago, but I traded it for something else somewhere along the way, 'cuz the one at a time dealie was getting to be a drag. I've had her gaschecked big brother 429244 forever, but I've been wanting another 421 and here she is. Took 17 drops to get here; drop 16 looked good, but there was an air void in the sprue of the back cavity, so we tried again. Weighing a pudgyish 254 and measuring .4315 and .4330 out of an abomination WW/Range Scrap/dash of tin alloy that was already in the pot. Lookit them big square grease grooves!
I may put these two in my jammie pocket and dream happy dreams of dropping big silver pills tonight.

I saw this in a cartoon once. I'm pretty sure I can pull it off...

Th-ems some good looking boolits...one of my favorite molds. I have a 6 banger and just cast around 500 of them. I think they will last the summer, but who knows may have to cast some more in the fall.

    Nice!!!

Glad to see you're back in business with the 429421's. I did the same thing with selling a mold years ago & finely got back to casting them again this year.

What a great boolit!!! Easy to cast, easy to load & excellent accuracy with multiple powders in the same firearm.

    Enjoy.

Always nice to see a 429421 but I was hoping for something a little better. More in the round nose design maybe????/beagle
