I found this RCBS Lube-a-matic at my pawn shop a couple of months ago. I finally finished cleaning it up. Not that bad for $45 and some effort. I left it in the oven on warm which leeched the old lube out and used electrolysis to remove the rust. Some paint and it almost matches.
Now I need sizing dies and top punches. The real plus is that I don't have to use my Lee sizer and pan lubing anymore!

I've been putting off painting my RS because I can't find the old wrinkle paint. I wonder if the old girl would mind some of that nice hammer finish stuff. I AM IMPRESSED. Good job.

Do you have the rest of the rods and linkage that goes with it or did you have to order them from RCBS. The last picture still shows it incomplete. Other then that, I wish mine looked that nice.
impressive! how did you do the electrolysis set up? that looks pretty simple to do.
I have all the parts, I just was too lazy to assemble it that night. The only thing I am missing is the wrench. I'll be welding the mounting plate for my table tomorrow and take some pictures of the reloading bench.
Electrolysis is easy and awesome. Here is my Gahendra before and after with 4 hours in the bath. It is a quite lengthy explanation I'll get pictures of the setup and explain later.

Well in that case it sounds like you got a great deal. I am sure you can pick up a small ratcheting wrench from just about anyplace that sells hand tools. Northern tools has a set with one the size you might need for $17.00.Originally Posted by fal_762x51
