I just got a notice from Wideners. They have WC867 & WC872 for 39$ for 8 lbs. plus they have SMP 844 at a very reduced price also. I cant remember how much exactly.

SMP 844 in on sale for $85/8 lbs @ Wideners. Is that the same or similar to WC844?

The email I got from them said WC844. That is a fantastic powder for .444 Marlin.
it's great for hoser 223 ammo.. hoser being anything under 100 yards..
844 should work well in 223 and similar cartridges. I'm using WC845 in the 223 and 6.5 TCU.
I've used it and it's brother WC 846 for heavier bullets in the 223 before.. at $85/8#, I don't have to stress over cost quite as much as a powder going for $130-$140/8#...
How do you find out if the powder is useful in other calibers, such as 7mm08,243,30-30 etc. Thanks Glen
It is almost identical to, if not the same stuff as H335.
