Here is a die I came up with for making SWC 45 cal with base guards. Swaged 45 cal bullet on left, cast 44 grain boolit that it started out as on right. BT

I had excellent luck using a 44 cal SWC cast boolit then swaging it in the 45 cal SWC swage die with a copper base guard. A bleed hole is possible, adds a little labor cost. You could swage a bullet that has already been lubed. BT

This is an area of swage dies I am considering offering dies for. Take simple cast boolits and swage them for best possible accuracy. Could be an easy die like my BTSimple. My target cost would be in the $200- $250 range for the one die and base...

There isn't much data for pistols out there.. though I would look up data that matches it's shotshell performance and see if there is anything similar to compare it to charge for charge.. it might be that WSH is just not compatible with metallic...

Well I have hit three so far. All at 100 yrds and all with my 42 grain 20 cal bullet shot from a 20-223. Shooting conditions where variable winds from 5-10 MPH for these shots shown here. First one I hit was mounted on a simple foam board backing...

If you reload 50 BMG this is the die you need to deprime your brass without resizing it or having to clean it first. This die works like any other universal decaping die simply scaled up for the 50 BMG or 416 barret case. Use this die to deprime all...

Speed limits is a deep subject, and possibly part myth when it comes to bullets made form 22lr brass. There are a lot of variables. I have successfully shot 22 cal bullets made from 22lr brass less then 1/2MOA at 3500 FPS from a 223rem but for all...

Good deal, I think most would rate it as a slower unique.. I do believe this will work fine in 16 and 28 gauge as well. I like it for heavy bullet 9mm ammo for my 929.. 147 RN epoxy coated bullet over 3.8 gr of Herco gets me a nice light 132 Power...

I've been trying out their "Tac Rifle" powder in my AR.. I like it and it's relatively inexpensive compared with some others like H335, Accurate 2015 and Win 748. Though Powder Valley has been offering this line since the shortage. I've had a few...

Was no lead exposed, had larger meplat, was around 176 grains. All my initial testing of 30 cal was with this bullet out of a 300wm. http://castboolits.gunloads.com/showthread.php?109892-BTSniper-308-custom-die-progress! BT

I'm sure it is possible to get good accuracy, and the 9mm 30 cal jacket certainly has some great advantages to it as far as controlled expansion and probably deep penetration, I have a post here somewhere that shows the bullet cross sectioned next...

I did, but it is a lot easier to use 7.5x55 brass that is already .500 at the base. 308win, necked up and the final 820 grain bullet! BT

You can make as heavy as 400+ grain .458 bullet from scrap 45ACP brass. Much easier to work with then shearing the rim off the 44mag. BT

The math seems pretty easy...... one needs a bullet to feed in the 22tcm at 9mm OAL length. 9mm loaded length is 1.169" 22tcm case length is 1.022" The difference is 0.147" .147" is the max length of the nose of the required bullet. I'll...

X-caliber has any twist you could possible need for 22 cal AR barrels from 6 to 16 twist! I'm pretty sure my next barrel for an AR will come from them. http://www.x-caliber.net/custom-ar-barrel

One last thought on the matter for me..... A good quality barrel will probably mean just as much as twist rate when it comes to accurately shooting our bullets made from 22lr brass. For example a well made 7 twist barrel from a known barrel maker...

My 9 twist AR barrels also shot bullets made from 22lr brass in the 55 grain range just fine as well. Those where both Armalite 24" barrels. Don't think you will go wrong with anything from 9-12 twist and as you have seen there are those of use...
