    Hand Guard: What does it fit?

    I found this hand guard with some other things. Can you tell me what it goes to. Click on the picture for alittle closer look.

    I also found with this, 2 SMI 953 6 shot stripper clips with the empty cartridge's.

    I believe it could be a wood handguard for the Ruger Mini 14. They were wood when the first came out. Yours looks to be about the right size and shape.

    Thats it, for sure. Did the plastic handguard have slotted vents in it. If so I have that to.

    Yes. There were a few types I think. And then aftermarket stuff too.

    It may be a hand guard for a Springfield M1a.
    The dimensions would be a great help

    The fired brass is scrap - berdan primed Italian 6,5 Carcano. The Carcano Mannlicher clips can go for $5 to $8 each.
