I use Eezox. It evaporates and leaves a dry film. I've never had rust on my carry gun which is on me all day every day. This includes lots of outside work in hot weather. I wipe the gun down with Eezox 1-2 times each week. I blow off the dust...

I have used a Frankford Arsenal for a few years and it has worked well and consistently. I always double check powder charges with a beam though when setting the Uniflow.

The nice thing about the 22s is they don't require the labor the center fire stuff does. How much time do you have in a box of 100 rounds? I figure I probably have close to 2 hours in casting, lubing and reloading. If you only shoot a couple...

I just ordered 5 pounds of surplus CSB-1 from Hi-tech Ammo. He says use Universal load data. So, I should be set for all my handgun cartridges for a while.

I'd really like to know PSA's reason for the $50 bulk packs of 525 Federals. They usually have good prices and I've ordered 22 in the past from them. Their other ammo doesn't seem that high either. Why gouge on 22?

Ickisrulz replied to a thread Case iron? in Reloading Equipment
I have had dents that did not come out when resizing. So I am guessing these tools can remove some of the dents. I actually made myself one today based on the pics that can be seen at the Buffalo Arms site. I'll try it out next time I dent a...

Sure. But the product is still being made and people still search for it. What's the problem with it being old?

I am another happy owner of a Harvey Deprimer. I now deprime as I shoot in my backyard. It slows me down a bit and keeps my reloading area a little cleaner.

There are a couple "case irons" on the market to remove dents/dings from brass necks. Does anyone use one of these? How effective are they? It seems like they are just a metal cone on a handle. Am I missing something? Edit: It looks like...

I cannot help you with the Norma bullets, but 2400 is great for use in the 30-06 with cast bullets. See this article: http://home.comcast.net/~gavinsw/guns/castbulletmilitaryrifle.pdf

Yes, but this is a new problem with a scope I've had for a couple of years. At first I was sure it was condensation on the outside since it was unusually humid here. But yesterday it dried up and cooled off and the problem is still there. I'll...

Upon further examination I think the fogging is internal. Today was cooler and less humid, but I still had the fogging. I noticed that when I held the objective up, the scope cleared. When I pointed it down, the scope fogged. I guess this is...

I tried a couple of mixtures of dish soap and distilled water. I think I saw some improvement, but not totally. It did make the lens nice and clean though. I will try a commercial product when I place an order online or see one in the store.

I am inclined to agree with you. However, I am a bit confused because two of my other scopes were taken out the same day under the same conditions and did not have the condensation. Additionally, I used a hair dryer to warm up the obj lens, but...

I have a Weaver rimfire 2-7x28 scope. When I take the thing outside I get condensation on the objective lens. I have let the scope sit for over an hour, but the condensation will not go away. I can wipe it off or blow on it and a few seconds...

What do you mean by, "Yes on the case?" You aren't measuring the lead portion of the SP are you? These get dinged and have different lengths. You need a fixture that will allow you to obtain consistent readings using the ogive.
