I got a run of one hour with my Hunter 7mm 145gr 5 banger. Not sure how many but about 2" deep in the bottom of the 10 Gal bucket I use t water cool.
These are for nose sizing for my new FA single shot as I want to try nose sizing before having to neck turn all my cases. I am having the odd round fail to go in even when the seating depth is the same. ZWith no camming action with the break-open design all just has to be perfect. In my XP I use a very soft crush fit into the lands. Not possible with the FA. Peter.

I got a chance to cast my line into one of our urban lakes today. Didn't even get a nibble.

I know it's not the type of casting you were referring to but, that's what I cast today.

I'll have to try casting some more bullets next weekend.

Thanks! I made that picture as the wallpaper on my computer. It looks pretty cool when it is really big.

About 25 or 30 muffin ingots (about 25 oz each.) Still have one "cat litter" bucket full of range scrap to process, then I'll be ready to switch to boolit mode for awhile.

I need to take my hotplate apart and bypass the thermostat; it has started cycling off way more than it should. (not sure if I should add a switch or just permanently jumper around it. Maybe it'll be obvious when I get it the cover off)

    10# of Lee310RF 44's (new mold).

New mold makes some great looking boolits. What do these weigh for you guys that cast with this mold? My mold was dropping .4305-.4310 with 50/50 (WW/PB) water dropped, but the bullets only weighed 303-303.5 grains.

Figured the half pure lead with the WW's would throw a heavier bullet.

I've got that mold also. Mine weigh 310 plus or minus a half grain, but with the gas check attached (cast from ww's). Excellent shooting bullet, recoil is fierce with full house loads in the Super Blackhawk.

Took the day off work - so, I cast up 13 lbs of MP 359640 HP's and 8 lbs of the MP 432-200 HP.s. Don't know how many of each, but they should last me for a while. Great day all around... enjoy Mike

I didn't cast anything, but I *finally* got out to the range to shoot some of my boolits, all cast from just range scrap with no extra tin added. A hundred .38 Specials (Lee 158-RF) and fifty .357 Magnums (Lee TL-148-WC) All were tumble-lubed, and I was a little worried about the wadcutters cuz they were loaded *hot*.

The gun looked like a sewer pipe when I was done, but a couple of passes with a brush and it all came out. There was no leading

It was a nice day, so I did some light casting. Here are a couple of action pictures before the sun went down.

Using the hotplate and saw blade to keep the molds warm, I alternated a bit between my Lyman 2-Cavity Bullet Mold #358311 for 38 Special & .357 Magnum and the Lee 6-Cavity TL356-124-2R for 9mm.

I was just casting slow and easy, and cutting the sprue plate with a gloved hand. I ended up casting 150 or so 38/.357 boolits, and 200+ Tumble Lube 9mm boolits.

It was starting to get dark outside, so I figured that was a good time and place to stop.

I want to sit down, and load some more 9mm boolits to run through my TZ 75.
I just put new finger groove wrap around Hogue grips on the TZ 75, and I want to see if they handle any differently than the Pachmayr grips that I previously had.

I am also planning on putting in a little bit of wheel gun time.

    1,500 H&G #275 09-125-SWCBB from a six cavity mould and 970 Saeco #929 38S-145-SWCB from a four cavity mould.
How's that hope and change working for you?

Did cast some boolits yesterday was showing someone how it works. only kept the .45's rest went back in pot as they were for training. Lead the ultimate recyclable.

No casting, but just dip lubed 100 .44 Devastators in preparation for a loading session to replace what I fired on my hawg hunting trip the other week.
