Here's my unusual little .22 squirrel getter. How many PAV model 50's have you seen laying around?

Only a fool would attempt it, and God help me I am that fool.
Neat. That makes ONE that I've seen.....

Ha-ha, It's the only one I've ever seen too. I picked it up at a gun show and had no idea what it was, but I had to have it. The little I've found is that it's a Czech target pistol, made in 1950 has a 9 1/2" barrel and was never imported to the USA. It was evidently stylish in Bohemia back in the day.

Looks like a nice simple design that could be made in a modest hobby machine shop. I'd like to see the trigger mechanism. Most of the gun could probably be made on a chinese mini-lathe. That would be a cool project.
You are right, it's avery simple design, the knurled knob at the back of the reciever is the cocking piece and hammer.

Here is a similar one ... Model 70. It shows the pivot lug and has a different cocking handle. Looks like a very simple project (if you have an old rifle barrel to use)

Looks like a slightly more modern version, they are fun and surprisingly accurate.

wonder if they gave them scarfs out when you bought one of them guns. what a classic picture
If you and your girlfriend are off to the coffee shop to pop off a few rounds, you should dress properly for it.

Have you shot it? That's a really cool looking pistol. I've never seen that before. It's cool like a Whitney wolverine.

Saw one this past Saturday at a gun show in Texas!
Yes I shoot it often, it's a lot of fun.

I’m thinking I could have gotten another $100 or two out of you that morning….
Glad your having fun with it!!! I did while I had it. It likes to be talked dirty to once in a while…
I like the updated model 70 more.
The 5 shot magazine has really got me in.
I have seen pictures of them a couple of times on the net.
Beautifully simple.
Haha, I'm having a blast with this thing, if you ever find another one I know a guy that would love to have one. I think you met him

If you ever disassemble it and photo it, I'd love to see the photos. Especially the trigger-sear parts.
Thanks.

Today is the first time I have ever seen one. How's the trigger pull? Did they have anymore; as I probably hit the same gun shows you do?
Britons shall never be slaves.
Parts breakdown Mod 70 as well as some background info and that CoffeeHouse Pic..
But no translation available that I can see.
I thought I looked pretty good in my brown 'cords'....
