4.6 grn bulleye over a 308403 pope clone with a tuft of dacron. It doesn’t engrave on the nose in my gun but still shoots 1” at 100yrds and had size groups at 328 yards. Most well fitting 150 -180 grn bullets work pretty much the same.

Please do. I am interested. 300 yards would do me. But staking out watching a spot off away’s could be quite beneficial too.

I use these to store my extra bullets that I will load while shooting or storing. I keep the rest unlubed and stored in zip lock baggies with details on them. I tend to change on a whim what I feel like using on a particular day. In case you are...

I do that too. But use a powder scoop. And a homemade de-recapper. I have been abused accused and amused at some of the rubbish people carry on with. I find it settles my pace and the gun doesn’t get hot. Gives me a break from shot to shot....

I dip lube with 50-50 bw and vasalene for my heeled 310 cadet bullet and 308403 clone. I heat the bullet first and use tweezers. Stand on sheet of baking paper to solidify. Wipe the base and either seat in case or breach seat. Works for me. The...

Probably some buffalo shooters or others accquanted with the art up until around 1910 or so. After they stopped producing store bought projectiles. Who knows. People have been patching a long time. Now patching a used jacketed bullet from a...

I bought a pair of peltors and use them for everything. The adjustable volume as opened up a new level of hearing sensation for me. I have also bought some fitted earplugs to shoot at the range. The combo worked well when I went there last time...
