    357 Bain and Davis rechamber

I have a Ruger 9mm blackhawk cylinder that id like to have rechambered to 357 B&D. Can anybody reccomend a gunsmith? Thanks

I would suggest Gary Reeder, and going with one of his wildcat cartridges that are better designed. He can supply dies and load data as well, you're more likely to have a positive experience going that way.

I am curious about the reference to the Gary Reeder cartridges being "better designed"? Maybe so.
I'd like to know more about that.
Both cartridges appear to have short necks, with the GNR maybe being shorter (not really sure).
So, I checked a little bit.
I didn't find an answer, but I did find a site with a bunch of 357 B&D info. Pretty neat stuff:

I hope you have some luck with your great project idea! Those 9mm cylinders just beg for a good rechambering job, whatever cartridge you choose!
