Do Graf's an Natchez, etc. still have sales for free shipping or Hazmat? Randy.
Locally it's BiMart or Cascade farm and outdoor. Online, I heard that https://www.powdervalleyinc.com/
Conditor22, thanks for your input. Anybody ever shop online at Federal Armament? Seem to have some deals. Randy.

+1 for Graf's. Fast service and I find them to be the best value on shipping and hazmat.
I buy 90% of my powder and primers at Bimart. Bullets as well. better prices than Sportsman's Warehouse which is my second choice.
Powder Valley, usually order plenty, HazMat, shipping become insignificant.
Don't even bother buying without a sale. I always wait until the sale is enough to offset the shipping at least. The last places I bought were Powder Valley, and Grafs. In the past, Midway and Precision Reloading have had good sales too.
Local shop. 127.00 for 8lbs of the alliant powders i use G.D Sport pistol and power pistol. 150 for 5k cci primers. R.D and unique are also the same prices. But they been out of them. He said he plans on being restocked before the state shoot.

The way things are right now the free shipping and/or Hazmat has gone away. There's no reason to offer it because they are selling everything they can get right now.

I have used Powder Valley, Midsouth Shooters Supply and Natchez Shooters supply in the recent past, for powder and primers. It pays to buy in bulk and to shop around the sites. Unfortunately, it seems like one site will never have everything I am looking for these days, but it has improved over the last couple of months.
I've been seeing a lot of out of stock listings on primers at most of the usual vendors named above. Some are ok, some are out, some you have to potentially take a non preferred brand. I picked up some large pistol primers from an LGS just to have some on hand this week. Hoping (doubtful, but hoping) things normalize a bit before election shenanigans make another panic run on the market.

i got a local store in my area and it's prices are the same/lower than powder valley. with the leo/military discount it is hard to beat.
I too use Ammo Seek to find the base price and then look to see shipping and haz mat fees. I am waiting on delivery of 5k SRP from Powder Valley, $150.00 plus fees. Not the best but they were in stock and I need to load for a dog hunt.
I have noticed a new vendor (to me anyways), Federal Armament, Anybody ever shop online at Federal Armament? Seem to have some deals on a brand of primers I have never heard of (Fort Smith). Randy.
I could not get logged into their site for some reason, so I sent an order for some Berdan primers by mail with a check, but got it returned by mail a few days later. Maybe I'll try again online, but I really don't think they wanted to screw around with a small order by mail.
All of the above. The prices and service from Powder Valley, Graf's , Midsouth, and Nachez have all been ok. It has always made sense what with Hazmat and shipping to do larger purchases. Save up and accumulate a shopping list. Buy the odd pound here and there from local sources if I need something sooner.
Also there was waiting for a sale of some sort. Free shipping, or Hazmat, or maybe a discount on some brand I want. Getting better now that people realize corona virus does not automatically equal end of civilization as we know it. Still not seeing any sales. I got bit doing a semi-annual restock purchase, had my list ready about when Sandy Hook happened. Not willing to get low enough to have that situation happen again.
Have you considered finding someone to combine an order with? Half a Hazmat fee is better than all of that fee. Especially if you are both getting stuck purchasing from more than one supplier to fill your order. Might well be someone else in same boat.
Scrap.... because all the really pithy and emphatic four letter words were taken and we had to describe this source of casting material somehow so we added an "S" to what non casters and wives call what we collect.
Kind of hard to claim to love America while one is hating half the Americans that disagree with you. One nation indivisible requires work.

I have always used Powder Valley in the last 20 years, but now it seems that they have jacked their price on 8 pounders by about $20 each. Left a bad taste in my mouth and a friend told me about CAC Associates who have the prices that Powder Valley used to have.
