    The BIG LEAP!

I took the big leap today. I powder coated for the first time. Came out better than I thought it would. I guess what everybody says. Good powder good powder coating. Thanks to everyone who helped.

Same here. I now look forward to loading bullets instead of messing with lube.

    Congrats.

I've yet to try PC, though a member here sent me a little starter kit. I'm still going to give it a go, but I can't imagine it taking the place of lube. I enjoy lubing bullets, I'll probably enjoy PC too. I like lube for reasons I can't quite put my finger on, the same as I like old lever guns and revolvers.

But with PC, you get all the great colors. Not only for the way they look, but it comes in handy for organizing your boolits if you stick to certain colors for different weights and calibers.

Congratulations from one new PC'er to another.

I used Eastwood. My wife bought me a pound of the semi-gloss black for Christmas.
