A lot of ............ for sale

A Ebay listing just appeared for a lot of bullet molds with some photos that I just wanted to share.

I admit I am anal when it comes to tools and equipment, blame it on my Industrial Engineering Professors or my German Heritage and their love of machines, but how can anybody do this to their equipment?

Blew my mind also, I would have to think about it if someone wanted to give it away. The only thing of any interest is the unknown H&G.

There are times I will take on a refurbish project just to get them back looking good but I would pass on all these.

Shame to see that kind of lack of care.

Seeing the few BURNT wood handles, makes me understand the ventilated metal handles...How the heck to you burn up the handles ?

Look at the Lee 6-bangers. Those sprueplates were anodised black back when they were new, to get them that pale they had to be hotter than Hades in summer.

Maybe he placed his dutch oven/leadpot on a Coleman and blasted the living daylight out of the dubious alloy and deemed it castable when it actually boiled.

Too bad that both of the H&G molds are somewhat hard to find. One is a #258 and the other is a #255 whoever he got them from the guy was a .41 mag shooter. Kind of sad but still somewhat tempting.

The 4 cavity, but there are no photos of the cavities and i would assume the interiors look no better than the exteriors. I have a few H&G molds and it is a shame this master workmanship wasn't appreciated.

I wouldn't bid 10 cents for any of that junk. I wouldn't take it for free. Thing is, some ebay dope will pay big money for it.

Maybe he was casting silver boolits for a vampire hunt. All that stuff looks pretty fried to me.

    I contacted the seller...and got some photo's of the H&G molds (since I'm a 41 fan).
(I won't be bidding on them)

Not just "No", but "H--L NO!"

However--they are in near-perfect condition to be touted as "Vintage", or "Collectible", or in "19th Century Patina" and sold for uberbucks on many online auction sites.
I don't paint bullets. I like Black Rifle Coffee. Sacred cows are always fair game. California is to the United States what Syria is to Russia and North Korea is to China/South Korea/Japan--a Hermit Kingdom detached from the real world and led by delusional maniacs, an economic and social basket case sustained by "foreign" aid so as to not lose military bases.

I have 4 lee 6 cavity moulds bought in 2008 that have the same color sprue plates as shown in the picture. They came from the factory that way.
