Nothing yet, just got home from the gym and waiting on the coffee pot. I spent most of last week sorting and polishing the range brass that I picked up before and during hunting season. Also prepped several hundred 223's that I plan to load today.

I cast, sized, and lubed just over 200 358429 boolits. Then I loaded 100 rounds of 9mm using Titewad and the Lyman 356632 100 grain boolit. That combo shoots well in my Beretta 92FS.

factory stuff shot o.k out of the 8" 45 acp adapter but it shot incredibly high with the rifle sights adjusted all the way down. Sent the adapter back for a refund

Spent a couple of hours trying to find the right size allen wrench to loosen the scope rings on one of my scopes so that I could install the scope on an Arisaka Type 99 that I picked up a few months back.

I loaded 350 rounds of 45 acp today on the dillon press. Got to love those progressive presses. Now if I only had time to shoot more!

Gathering my goodies to put together a homemade Annealing machine.

I have received the enclosure, speed controllers, power supply, 6" cake pan, torch setup and I am waiting on several other items such as the motors and case arbor material.

As I begin the build process, I will snap some pics. Hope it turns out as nice as the reference units I am styling after.
    Salute!

Fired up the turkey fryer to mixup about 250 lb of casting metal. Wheel weights, lead and tin. Pored it into 1lb ingots. I should be good to go for a while.

Just finished making 75 new 8X57 cases from .30-06, to replace the box of fifty I had lost, which I have now found. Life as usual.
The solid soft lead bullet is undoubtably the best and most satisfactory expanding bullet that has ever been designed. It invariably mushrooms perfectly, and never breaks up. With the metal base that is essential for velocities of 2000 f.s. and upwards to protect the naked base, these metal-based soft lead bullets are splendid.

Forget everything you know about loading jacketed bullets. This is a whole new ball game!

Loaded 50 of the 358429 boolits I made up a couple of days ago with a slightly reduced Glen Fryxell load. It will be interesting to see how well this highly reputed load shoots in my Blackhawk.

I finished sorting approx. 900 9mm cases by weight. Now I can load and know with a certainty that I don't have a undercharge, overcharge within 2 grains I am going to color code the various weights and know where I'm at in future reloads.

Loaded all of my pure Pb on a trailer and hauled it from the house in town to my barn in the country. We moved to the farm before Thanksgiving and I've been working on my new reloading shop an hour or two most days for the past six weeks.

I cast 200 Lyman 356637 for testing in my 9mm guns. They are dropping right at .357 and 150 grains. This is a little smaller than I like to shoot(.358). It will be interesting to see how they work.

I've been FL resizing 1 X fired 30/30 brass that I've accumulated over time. Just got a (new to me) like new Winchester 94 30/30 Ranger. Thought I was all set as I had a 117 gr .311 Lyman mold - cast some up yesterday to try - the design won't feed in the rifle. Time to get an order in to Titan - will try the Lee .309 - 100 FN and the Lee 309-159 FN. A guy is giving me a box of Hornady gas checks so slowly but surely, I'll get there!

Yesterday was a range day. I'm doing good to get the rifles cleaned and take a nap...
    Be careful,
