I sent them an email asking what they are/will be producing. I'll let the fine folks here know what information I get back from moosemoulds.

Hello Me again I just tried some of Moose Juice that's what he calls it. It's a graphite coating for inside the mould and the sprue plate It works Great The 44 Cal bullets fell right out of the mould and the sprue fell off as soon as i hit the plate. They said they are just waiting for the bottles to show up. I'll post as soon as I get more Info. Have a Great weekend Mikeski

I just got to thinking how much lead it would take to make a moose......... Imagine moving it.

It WOULD be a heavy sumbitch, wouldn't it?
The solid soft lead bullet is undoubtably the best and most satisfactory expanding bullet that has ever been designed. It invariably mushrooms perfectly, and never breaks up. With the metal base that is essential for velocities of 2000 f.s. and upwards to protect the naked base, these metal-based soft lead bullets are splendid.

Forget everything you know about loading jacketed bullets. This is a whole new ball game!

Haven't seen the moulds so I can't comment on them but I would make the following observation that it seems to me that they must have issues if you need to lube the inside of the mould to get boolits to drop.

Wouldn't take long before that moose was missing a few body parts due to being melted off.

Seems like it would tumble pretty bad. Hmmmm
You know, I am pretty surprised that whoever it is that is making these lead mooses is not an advertising member of this forum.
Why would he not want to get a word in with the biggest concentration of casters in the nation?
