    D.G.L. Lube

This has got to be one of the best lubes with black powder. It comes from Pocatello, Idaho; according to the label on the tub. Is it still being made for sale? Thanks for any help.

DGL is still available from Midway. http://www.midwayusa.com/product/689...ube-12-oz-tube I used it for awhile when I first started casting for my BPCRs but, after a little experimenting, switched to making my own Emmert's Lube and have never looked back.

Great lube, I have real good luck shooting it with plain base loads in rifles and and my 686. About 1400 fps seems about tops for speed.

Thanks for the replys. I used it in a rifle chambered for the 40-65 and had good results. The other day I wanted to lube some pillow ticking for one of my muzzleloaders and grabbed what was left of the DGL. I melted some of it and soaked up some strips of ticking. Works well enough; but easy to overdue.
I found another tub of it in town the other day, that will lube many patches for me.
