Here in MO, muzzleloaders must be .40 cal or larger to be legal, but they are allowing airguns .40 and larger too, and I'd but a 32 maxi could put out as much energy as most of the air rifles do.

Very nice cheese! Buffalo arms has nice large brass hoppers that are threaded, but I think they might cost more than the measure did! But it would look good on it.
I have had a long barreled Ruger single six for a while now, and just recently bought a 357 Max super Blackhawk with the 10.5" barrel. I have been working on trying shooting these at longer ranges....
Dunno for sure without a picture, but it sounds like a Modern Bond mold, either 215 or 240 grain for the 44 special according to an old catalog.
A pic would say for sure. Why not try to sell it...

Huh? Where did you get this info? Since you are in Missouri, the rimfire/shotgun regulation is only for during firearms deer season. Pretty much anything else goes the rest of the year. Season from...

Poll numbers don't go quite high enough for all the 22 molds I have, not to mention the 6mm, 7mm, 30's and 35's. Not many bigger ones though.
Glad to hear he is doing better.
I hope you post on how they work, I've been interested, but have not seen how they work and would very much like to see how they are used.
I have one of those 761's, it looks just like NoZombies' one. I really like it.
He keeps posting those pics of that Rossi 239 but he won't sell it to me! I have never seen another one either, and...
I guess I'm in a minority, I don't mind the extra weight, but I rarely pack one very far and I rarely shoot offhand. The extra weight always feels better to me. Heck, I carry a bull barrel rifle deer...
I am usually partial to 5.5" barrel guns, but the Hunter style revolvers from Ruger appeal to me. I have seen them in 41 mag, 44 mag, and 45 Colt. Plus the single six hunter in 22/22mag. Has Ruger...
I have one of each of the Buckeye convertibles as well. I paid $650 for my 38-40/10mm a few years ago. It was basically NIB at the time, the 10mm cylinder didn't even have a drag line on it. I've...
Nice Ben. Mine will look like Dale53's, hope it shoots as good as yours does. I tend to have that vertical stringing problem with iron sights, but I know it's me. Either that or inconsistent grip...
The bases are smaller to fit into the cylinder easily. The "ring" round the middle should be large enough to shave when seated in a 44 revolver cylinder. a lot of the black powder revolvers in 44...
Nice Ben! I just ordered one of the previously mentioned stainless bisley blackhawks 5.5" with both cylinders. I am looking forward to getting it in a week or 2. Look forward to your report as well....
Lyman Cast bullet handbook no 1 and no 2 clearly lists a Lyman 257464 but no 266454. I did however locate a 266454 in Lyman handbook no 39 and 40 after taking a second look.
I have had both a...
I have a 266 454. It is an odd one as I have not seen it listed on any of Lyman's charts. The 454 number is usually listed with a 257 mold.
My 266454 weighs around 100-105 gr if I remember...

$367 for a 2 cavity Lee .22 Bator mold

dbosman, you are getting your 25-20 cartridges mixed up. While the 25-20 WCF can be formed from 32-20 brass, the 25-20 single shot is a different animal. Smaller in diameter quite a bit longer than...

I have no argument about the PO being a gov entity, but this is not true. The USPS cannot be ticketed and cannot be compelled to pay a fine, but an individual driver is another matter. Direct from...
I saw some sell on ebay a little while back. They were 4 cavity 45 and 50 cal molds. IIRC, they went for around $125 each.

Have no idea without a picture on the brass one, but the c-311-500-655 is a Modern Bond designation for a 30 cal mold that cast 2 different weights of a SWC style boolit. One at 90 gr, one at 115.
Forum: Rimfire Area
I was referring to a Contender barrel, which could be used with either. A bolt gun would need two different bolts.

I like them too yooper. I have almost a complete set, I wish I had an extra EE to trade, but I only have the one. I concur with you, none were made in I, II, Q, QQ, Y, or Z. At least not that I can...

Thanks, I've shot a number of the Lee Real boolits, but I prefer the maxi so far in my own shooting. The hunter boolit really hasn't done very well.
I was really just interested in the heaviest...
