You can melt it and pour it in (using very low heat, or preferably a double boiler), or make your own sticks.... your choice. If you do melt it.. be careful not to fill above the little air hole in...

My favorite 38/357 mold is the NOE 360-160 WFN. It shoots great in all my .38 caliber guns. It is available in a hollow point too.

I'd buy another barrel. They aren't that rare and a lot of people wanted a rifled barrel and have no real use for their smoothie anymore. I do love my smoothie. It's a lot of fun to shoot, and...

They're fun to drive, if you really like working on something a lot. John Muir's book helped me keep mine running. But you'll need at least one that runs and two more for spare parts. I don't...
I have ordered many molds from MP molds. 'Never a problem. Current times and global problems might change that now, but I can't say.

I'd say yes.... outside only. It does get dusty. I like the perfect coating from my spray gun, using any powder, but to each his own. If S&B works best for anybody's application, go with that.

I use a .530 ball with a .015 patch in my .54s. (I like them easier loading) Powered by 80gr ffg.
Oh, they're in cabinets and drawers and shelves and big plastic bins. But they're NOT organized. They're only grouped by caliber.

Alloy, or lead? If it's pure lead (and I guess it was), it's much softer than brass. You can scrape it off with a popsicle stick, toothpick, bamboo skewer, or other wooden stick. If you have vent...
No, I just clean them (toothbrush and Dawn), heat them up in the mold oven to dry and get to temp, and start casting. They will patina themselves in time. I have well over a hundred brass molds...

I didn't even know they could turn violent. A local petting zoo/farm here has one that he takes to a lot of kid's parties. It's (seemingly) as tame as a kitten.

That's awesome. I got two full grown coon hounds in a trap that size once. They were just standing in there with their faces pressed against the mesh and could barely move. I guess they both REALLY...

It may be regional. I don't see it fading around me. Empty shelves everywhere. And when any ammo does hit the shelf, it's high as a cat's back... but it still sells out fast. So it's going to be high...

What he said. Unless you have an empty LAM II to dedicate to this, you'd probably be happier with a press and a few Lee push thru dies, or just get the NOE bushing system size dies.

Lee handles are all I use with NOE molds. Happy casting!
It'll make great boolits. Now you'll be addicted to the MP molds too. Welcome to the club!!! :D

Oh no. Prayers and condolences. How terrible.

Skeleton is my favorite. I love watching them go 80mph down an icy ditch, headfirst and face down, while riding a garbage can lid.
If I were a younger man, I'd love to try it.

I use beeswax and olive oil at 65/35 for black powder, but it's only going maybe 650-700 fps. For any other things, read how to make Ben's Liquid Lube. It will handle almost anything you want to...

I have seen no difference in cycled versus non-cycled molds. I scrub them with a toothbrush and Dawn and then heat them in the mold oven (hot plate and coffee can) and start casting. I have heat...
Truth. I guess the price wouldn't matter here. It'd be snapped up immediately, as long as a person could build a round for even a few pennies below loaded ammo costs.

So sorry for your loss. My two just turned 14 yesterday and I hope they make 20 or better, because I'd miss them terribly.

No lube before PC. I don't even like to handle mine much before PC, but I'm picky about my coat. If you have to GC before PC, you can run em through the sizer, but do it clean. (I run mine through...

We haven't watched a NFL game this season, but we'll watch the SB to see the funny commercials (if they produce any). Sometimes the commercials are great, sometimes they're a letdown. But it's...
